Connection of Your Physical Health with your Emotional Condition

Examples of strong connection between your physical health and your mental/emotional condition are numerous. Have you ever noticed that when you get physically sick your emotional condition worsens greatly? You are getting all irritable and generally dissatisfied with everything. This fact is one of the perfect proofs of invariable interaction of your physical health with your emotional well-doing.
This example of mine was actually very ‘light’ and almost trivial, especially if we compare it with something more serious like terminal diseases. When I worked as a hospice volunteer I saw the emotional state of people who suffered from untreatable forms of cancer and i.e. rapidly moved towards their dying day. Some of them were deeply depressed, others had ‘gained’ serious mental disorders through their terminal physical conditions.
Have you ever noticed how emotionally elated we feel when we recover from certain nasty disease? I certainly have! This shiny and new feeling of emotional bliss is closestly connected with your physical refreshed and now healthy condition. Moreover, this condition helps you make sure how important health in a person’s life is and i.e. encourages you to work on your well-doing and cherish it.
The opposite side of the medal of mental-physical health connection is, for instance, your physical condition during depression or any other mental deviations from usual norm. Haven’t you ever realized that when you are upset or stressed out, your physical health is getting worse as well? I’m sure you have which is another vivid example of firm ‘friendship’ between your physical and mental conditions.
Taking into account all that has been said you must work hard on all the aspects and ‘fields’ of the global notion of your health – if you want to stay physically and mentally healthy for as long as possible that is.

Back Pain and What’s at the Back of It

If your physical health’s most hurtful problem is pain back, put your back into active work on getting to know everything about your back pain and i.e. on starting fighting it. In order this tautological but potentially successful process to result positively, you must be well-educated on the issue of back pain, its causes and treatment. As for detailed symptoms of back pain, they are typically concentrated at the lower back area; this rule is not fundamental though, and pain can spread to other areas. These symptoms may cause discomfort or even total disability. Pain varies from sharp through burning to dull ache.As for treatment, the necessity here depends on what exactly stands behind your pain’s back. If it’s about mild back pain, then it will pass without extra doctor’s attention. Don’t try those pain relieving pills, they only bring temporary relief. Don’t indulge in bed rest either, exercise instead. Other ways to treat back pain are massage, physical therapy and even acupuncture; sometimes the best option is surgery. Consult your doc and don’t let your back pain be on your back.

Open Your Eyes to Probs with Vision

Our eyes are our good friends, they help us whenever we need any visible and noticeable assistance and only let us down in return to our unworthy attitude to them. What does this unworthy attitude imply? We all know what continuous working with the computer implies, just as well as any tension we hyper-load our poor vision with. That’s why the fact that we exhaust our eyes and don’t care about the result of our playing with fire may lead to quite unpleasant and often unfixable problems with eyesight.
What are diseases connected with failing eye sight? They are cataracts (the leading one), glaucoma (the one which deals with too much fluid in the eye ball which causes pressure and i.e. vision loss). There are silent conditions and diseases connected with loss of vision, for example, glaucoma. Glaucoma is not accompanied by any symptoms, that’s why it’s very important to have regular check-ups once a year to cure it in time – before it’s too late.
Have you ever heard of macula? You most probably haven’t. So I’m telling you that it’s the part of your eye which is responsible for your ability to see all the details in the centre of your vision. Sometimes macula breaks down and it leads to fuzzy spot in the centre of your sight – surreal enough, isn’t it. This condition is called macular degeneration. It’s very serious and has no cure.
If you’re reading this, you are experiencing (or will sooner or later experience) probs with eyesight, I’m far-sighted enough to see that your view is hungry for the image of all possible methods to prevent failing eyesight.
First, use more light – two or three laps instead of one, more watt bulbs are correct solutions. Large print books and pocket flashlight for dimmed public places are good options as well. Train your eyes and distract them from work if what you occupy yourself with on a daily bases is connected with damaging your eyesight – massage your eyes, look into the window, concentrate on faraway points – these and a few more exercises make up a work-out routine for your eyes.

Hearing Loss – Serious Physical Disorder

Ears are the most intricate organs of the human body. Even though they are also quite tough and effectively fight with ‘enemies’, many people still have troubles with hearing which often suggest serious disorders or inability to hear at all.
It’s not a secret that hearing loss is out-of-the-blue or gradual disappearing of one’s ability to hear the sounds of the world. One can lose hearing partially or completely, temporarily or permanently, mildly or severely – the characteristics of deafness often depend on its cause. Some people are born deaf even.
Possible causes of deafness are prolonged exposure to noise or natural aging process. As for symptoms, they are ‘blurred’ hearing, the feeling as if your ears are covered. Often a person doesn’t notice that he/she loses hearing at first, only when his/her family or friends let him/her know about way-up volume of the TV or radio, that this person mishears things way too frequently etc.
In the situations when a person loses hearing gradually, he/she suffers from it greatly. Hearing loss is often associated with loss of half-life (just as any disorder of such serious, disabling level). When a person finds out he/she experiences hearing loss, he/she starts shying away from starting conversations with others.
Deafness often results in loneliness, depression, independenceless… It prevents a person from being productive at work and from feeling normal in his or her other spheres of life. It is a very serious condition which in many cases doesn’t have a complete cure. In any case, if you are experiencing similar problems you must never give up.
